Mass Health Quality Partners today released its latest report on clinical quality of care provided by primary care medical groups (both adult and pediatric) across Massachusetts.
While quality is often found to be quite good, there is wide variation among providers on various measures. Consumers can use this report to learn more about the quality of care being provided by your doctors and/or to learn more about primary care provider groups whom you may be considering for your care or the care of your loved ones. Paired with the MHQP patient experience reports (a new one will be coming out later this year), this information gives a wealth of timely and important information to consumers. Providers can also use this information to determine where they need to improve care. Kudos to MHQP for once again providing vital information to Massachusetts health care consumers.
